The present book studies the women’s rights in Sassanid Period based on the Vendidad, which is a law book from ancient Persia. In this book, women’s law is considered in two dimensions of family and civil law. Women, based on their social class could be entitled to/deprived from the right of education, or the right of heir Women’s clothing is also another aspect considered in this study, especially since veiling was a distinguishing characteristic of aristocrats, compared to women of lower social classes
